Corey Emanuel Jr. is a Guyanese American writer & director crafting stories at the intersection of the thriller/horror-sphere and emotional truth. His work uses genre to explore grief, intimacy, and the quiet fractures within relationships.
Corey’s drama-horror short, Haven, had it’s World Premiere at the American Black Film Festival, and is available to stream on both the American Airlines Inflight entertainment platform and OMELETO’s YouTube channel. His sci-fi/horror short, Death in Her Arms, had it’s World Premiere at the Cleveland International Film Festival.
Corey’s latest short, Took, is a drama/horror following a grieving mother and the lengths she’s willing to go to see her sons face again. He is currently expanding the concept into his debut feature film, STILL.
